Zero G

A modular design with the aim of portable and compact tattooing in mind. The device fits over an artist's arm and allows easy access to tattooing necessities/accesories. The device holds ink, needles, hygiene accesories and has a convenient place to hold your phone and smart watch.

Revision 4

Using various snap fit clip systems (cantilever and annular), I create a modular design to allow for the addition of newly designed/custom accesories. Mass was minimized throughout the design by optimizing thickness and with cut shapes. Design for 3D Printing was deeply considered as this is how prototypes were developed.

The ZeroG logo. The initial idea was that the device would allow tattoos to be completed in space and the logo design is an ode to that. Created in Adobe Illustrator.

The two arm bases were 3D printed to show the initial prototype's viability as a product. Smaller versions of clip interfaces were 3D printed as well to verify the design.
